Tried using this song for the first time last night (51 bard). Went after Maligar for epic--I mezzed him and twisted this in to drain his mana--a few hints: have brass instrument equipped (I left mine in the bank, doh!) and you have to be right next to him--song has almost no range at all, had to practically be standing on top of him to get the wince message, was working fairly well but didn't want to keep my partners sitting there for hours while I drained his mana (song doesn't tell you how much you've drained him for--btw for a caster, Doppleganger hits very hard and very fast and has a nasty poison spell that he can get off rather quickly.

Freaking nooooobs. This is why Bards are either loved or hated.
Most of us never get the honor to group with a Uber Bard that makes everything seem so eazy. When you witness a true master Bard you often wonder how you ever got along without them :)

You get some freaking noob or wanna be boxed part timer that make you loath this class.
( Uber to me means you know how to play your class. You know your songs or spells. You are driven to learn everything you can about your class. Gear means nothing in the hands of some noob or boxed after thought.)

Of course Suz is the MOST awesome bard, however being she's such a fu..ing cu.t...she can't get into a group anyway...so fu.k off queen of the sh.t pile!!!
Well do you feel better now that you have tried to rip on someone for typing spell and not song? Sounds to me like your boyfriend just broke up with you because he couldn't stand waiting for you to get off the comp.
Well anyhow it's a mana drain that you have to be at point blank range to use.
