Darkwarriorofmagic when you log into game take the tutorial button in middle of the log in.. where your toons are.... inside of the tutorial if you can read you can play.. follow the instructions given by each npc, to talk to them you click on them till their name is in target area and type /hail (enter)..(non-playing character) these are the games guides to playing... you can stay inside of the tutorial untill you are level 10 or 12 now and if you do this you will have a good idea how EQ is played.. they teach or give, spells, dying, quests, experience, corpse recoverage, skills, banking, buying, grouping, languages, if you enjoy the tutorial you can go on to the world of norrath.. which in essence is a "real world" compared to the tutorial.. you will always find some one willing to help you in the "real world" if you just ask and are polite about it....having patience is a must when your a newbie, without doing the tutorial though you will never be a "good" toon... hope to see you around..and good luck
