Do singing mods and or amplification make it proc more often?
I'm not seeing this on Tatsujiro the Serene. I only see the level 62 fear spell. The evil side doesn't appear to have any bard songs. So did SoE move this to some other merchant?
I just came back from the DoN camps and Both Bard Songs are on Both Merchants. The Reason i think you didn't see them is they are listed as a Spell: instead of Song:. The Song:Angstlich's Echo of Terror is in the Norrath keepers list as Song: , but in the Dark Reign Camp it is under Spell:. The Song of Storm scroll is under Spell: in both camps. Me thinks a tiny typo from SOE

This song is a Proc that stacks on top of anyother procs in your party and does 75 damage..it has a 400% more chance to proc than other procs..plain in simple folks.

I have been told this would add 400% to all procs, so every time say you proc http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=20939 instead of being 750, it should be 3k. then you add in your crit, if eligible, and you could do some serious damage. can anyone confirm any of this? thanks

What the person who told you that meant to say is this... The song has 400% proc chance over base weapon proc rate (which is 6 procs/minute avg. I think - correct me if I'm wrong on that) so it will proc a lot. The damage done is 75 per proc assuming it's not resisted. Having a lotta melee in your group makes this song $$ and if you have pet classes with pet affinity then you're even better off.

I did an extremly scientific test on this .. I clicked on the link to the proc and found that it adds a 75 hit point dd proc to all group members melee attacks kinda like katta's proc does .. only this one does damage instead of debuffing the targets dex.

kattas song does NOT add damage ,, read the spell data ,, it lowers the mob's dex and raises the groups DEX by 75 with no drum mod ..
the 400% proc chance is added to the base ( unkown) proc chance ,, and this song does 100 DD with insrtument not 75DD ,, its altogether the best thing SoE EVER gave us fron verant till now

isnt that what the guy in frount of you said?
and as far as 6 procs per min, your forgeting procs are based on many things, namely dex, higher dex= more procs theres lots of procs in the game look at a crit as a proc the more dex you have the more you crit in melee combat and the better chance for your weapon to unlock its hidden power and unlesh its spacific specal cirt of its proc.
also haste plays a big role in how many procs a min you have. as you hit more offten when hasted (or at least swing because you dont have to land a hit to proc the weapon or effects of songs/ spells) the more chances for you to actually proc.
if you want to see the diffrence in dex procs just take any bst pet this is level 10 or higher (the pet its self not the spell in this case currently thats the level 15 pet i belive) and give it a fist that the mages summon which procs at level 10, count how many times it procs unbuffed in a fight with a mob that has no level varations ( same stats each time) and then give the pet the bst pet proc buff which adds 75 dex, and count how many times in a min now your pet procs the actuall mage summoned item, even at just 75 dex over the pets base dex it will proc usually an average of 2 times more a min at 150 each thats a lot of proc or in the case of the level 61 bard song 2 procs =150 dammage (if not resisted)
this is why no matter how much dps you have if your useing a procing stragidy you want a little shammy mix in the group)
perfict group make up for this song, for max dps would be a shammy, bard or two and the rest as rangers or rogues, why, because these classes inharently have lower delay weapons so they will hit more offten or at least swing and like is sad they will have more chances to proc, if you get them maxed out with dex they will probly proc this song at least 6 times a min unhasted and if you throw in another bard to sing haste (assumeing that the first one is doing the proc song, hp/mana regen, and probly an ae slow that leaves them no time to play the 3 stackable haste songs.
you could probly easly take out bot and under common mobs. (though nameds could get a lot more difficult) but could be a lot funner then the normal groups.
