Someone told me that you could find the pet spells on a higher level spell merchant in Katta, but when we went there, none of them had the level 49 pets. Was this just a rumor or is there indeed a merchant in one of the expansions who sells the level 49 fire and water pets?

The Katta vendors sell the level 44 pets, which eliminted the annoying chain research that used to be needed.
