Usefulness

Dollwinian, Rather than telling "blubies" that they'll never understand it's usefullness, how about you use the time it took to post constructively and tell us what is worth shelling out 200K+ for this for?
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 21 2004 at 1:28 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Bluebies will never understand the usefulness of skelly illusion.

Typical red-server attitude.. sice we play on carebear servers, we must be totally clueless in all aspects of PvP... None of us have instaclick junk buffs, none of us know how to waterbug, none of us know that a person in skelly form is slightly harder to target than someone who isn't.. We also don't know anything about the spell and archery pvp nerfs, since we are all too stupid to comprehend the complexities of the PvP lifestyle...

undead vision

Yes.. unfortuantly.

While using this spell you will become night blind. Even if your not a human or erudite.
Less bouncy

Having played a necro with Lich and Seduction of Saryn, swimming while under the skelly illusion seems less bumpy.
Faction?

Why be bothered about the ilusions no longer giving you faction when as a chanter you get Benevolence at Level 20. Just zap the nearest skelly with a 200 hit for faction and prance past him and his mates in the knowledge the dopey fool thinks your his best mate.

Considering that it takes like ten times 200 faction to get from KoS to non-KoS (roughly, don't quote me on exact amount, but alot), I think you might be dead trying this. A better suggestion might be to pacify mobs, lol.

I heard mention in guildchat that you cannot be stunned from melee blows to the front (a'la ogres) while under skeleton illusion. Does anyone know if this is true?

Umm... thanks Pongu, that answered his question.

It's not true. I was playing under Illusion: Skeleton today, testing out the theory that you don't need to eat or drink while under this illusion. I was stunned just as often as normal. By the way, the not-eating thing is also a myth. I ate food when I had it, and without food I still got the "You are hungry" message and my stamina stopped regenerating. And now that non-player illusions have been nerfed (they don't affect faction), this spell is useless except as a "fun" spell.

Useless..

Not really! Now you can Walk though Kithicor easier than before.

Before, you couldn't have Invisibilty and Invisabily to Undead on at the same time BUT...

Now you can use Illusion: Skeleton and Invisibility on.

It'll make the trek much safer. Not safe, just safer!

Undead in Kithicor want to suck the marrow out of anything wearing an illusion skeleton. They are not fooled by it. I tested it.
