our past nukes have had a stun with them, does this spell also stun the mobs ?.
No, at level 58 (Dementing Visions) Enchanter Nukes lose the stun. Which is both good and bad, Good that it draws less agro. Bad, it can't interupt casters
What makes this spell great and I fail to see anyone mention it is when critting. I have all the fury AA, and crit 2 to 3 times in a row often. Insanity crits for 2200 unless you have an item with improved damage, where this crits for 3000. That is a total of 6000HP damage vs 4400HP. Even more with Improved Damage. Check out the mana ratio on those.
With spell casting fury at max and fury of magic at second lvl I crit with insanity for 2420 with an id4 item. With just what I have now for aa's would imagine this to crit over 3k. Would like to know if anyone has max damage inputs with full crit aa's. Any info would be great. 
With GoD Lelyen's sandel, I crit this for ummm 4024 exactly. That's with all AAs including OoW critical hit focus. And add a bard to group, I knocked off a 4504 crit one time. And Insanity does 2400 or so, although I did break 3k on a crit with Insanity one time, thanks to a bard.

Ratio might seem the same, but that's not true for most enchanters. ID4 combined with mana preservation 4 or better Insanity Sphere (EP Gloves) make Insanity have close to twice the ratio of this one. But I agree with you, It's definately better than using Dementia as the other Nuke Spell!
mana preservation and insanity sphere don't stack. Insanity sphere takes over. They have increased the ratio since the post below. Wonder if they did it because of that post =)
1430/390 mana, same ratio as insanity. Well at least it's a second nuke to cast between recast times.
