This is a 4.3 to 1 ratio where as FBoT is 4 to 1 plus of course this is instant DD. and for those convo mages out there it makes the spell worth having as a secondary damage option. Im happy so far with it :0)

Only problem with your ratio is most mages at the lvl of this spell have M reduct AAs and items, and DD items to increase their damage by a percentage. Thus each mage would have to evaluate its benefit. With the percentage favoring the high m cost spell based on more m saved due to it being a % and also DD dam modifier benefiting the higher damage spell due to being a % as well. Though the spell is still a good spell.
