With Sweeper Focus seems to BASH for 30 and Max hit without AAs for 108. As it BASHES Should I assume the 67 level spell Lost Soul creates a WARRIOR PET?

I have still not verified the level but higher than 60 as 60 level mobs are light blue to my 67 level necro and Pet is Dark Blue.

pet
# Mar 29 2005 at 1:06 PM Rating: Default
this is a good pet. i was 2 boxing the other day and put my 67 pet vs my bst 68 pet, with both pets unbuffed and me having 1 aa in each of pet crits and flurry, (no pet focus either, ie: diamond prism of companionship)and the bst pet has full flurry and crit, and the diamond prism of companionship, my necro petwas at 40% and beast pet dead. so imo great pet

it's not surprising that this pet (unbuffed) would be able to take out an unbuffed bst pet, since a lot of the damage (and the pet's mitigation of dmg) comes from proc, which they have to cast.. so that wasn't really a truly fair fight. but it is surprising bonsie won by 40%.. i guess it's the lifetap that made it so easy for it.

2 boxing a cleric or druid my pet can handle named in WoSlaughter tanking ( gotten all my greater runes that way )

After getting pet affinity ( so pet gets all the goodie group tank buffs as well ) my pet has filled in for back up MT on a number of nasties after the main tank has gone down , or simply tanked adds.

I am curious if anyones run a parser on pet with and with out mage pet toys since the patch where they will now wear armor , see how much of a difference it makes. It does seem like my pet stuns more often with the wind sabers as opposed to the fire fists for some reason.

The lvl 67 necro pet can't tank a murkglider in NC let alone a named in WOS without a cleric getting aggro from the constant heals, which would soon make a dead cleric. I would urge others not to try this.

"The lvl 67 necro pet can't tank a murkglider in NC let alone a named in WOS without a cleric getting aggro from the constant heals..."

BS.

My 65 pet tank's murkglider's in NC. How do i know? I regularly duo' w/ my bro's 66 shaman. Pet needs maybe 2 heals (3 if i get skimpy on my DOT's) through out the entire fight w/ Quiescence. Pet is only shammy buffed too, no mage items, or cleric buffs.

Don't tell me it cant be done...

NECRO PET's ROCK!

This pet is great, Doesn't self buff like 65 (not that its needed). Also new graphic would be nice for the top 2 pets.

Mine seems to hit pretty consistantly for 101. I have Minion of Eternity for a focus.

Oh, and its another stupid spectre pet...heaven forbid we get a cool looking pet or even go back to skeletons that show their pet weapons.

I guess like most, I was expecting this to be a rogue pet as well. Not really disappointed at all though, seeing how he's making Saryrn's Companion's dps look like crap. I solo in vxed a lot nowadays and he's stunning mobs in there - 64-66 trash. Nice upgrade.
not the new rogue
# Sep 30 2004 at 2:05 PM Rating: Decent
Well i got this pet today and i have not seen it backstab yet so as far as i know its not the new rogue, i was wanting the rogue but oh well

2 cents
# Aug 18 2004 at 5:28 AM Rating: Decent
this is going to be another rogue pet? i'm not really complaining but sometimes i need my pet to take aggro, just for a second while i snare. CoB actually does this the best, so far. rogue pets just won't take the tiny amount of beating it takes for me to do that. i like the backstabbing, but if you can't get the mob snared what's the point, right? i only use rogue pets in a group where i know the tank is going to be in the same spot so i can park pet behind the mob. and i wonder if all our new pets will cast their own DS, like CoB.
