Do buff duration enhancing foci work on these?

No- tested with my ranger and several foci (AA and gear) and none worked.
There are 10 potions (made using Alchemy) with this effect: Distillate of Skinspikes I, II, etc. up to X. I bought samples of I-VI and tried them out. They have different minimum level requirements: version I has no minimum, II is min level 5, III is min level 10, etc. There may be a jump at the high end as there is for some of the mana regen potions etc. sold by the PoK vendors, but Skinspikes VI was min level 25 as expected.
More important is the difference in effect: DoS-I is a 10pt damage shield for 11:00. DoS-II is 15pt DS for 12:00, III is 20pt for 13:00, etc. up to VI is 35pt for 16:00. My guess is those continue the pattern, so the X version of the potion will do a 55pt DS for 20:00.
