The name of the vendor Mystic Abomin.
This is also sold in PoK on the Othmir shaman spell vendor near the enterance.
All I can say is that it will raise our DPS a ton.
I was grouped in PoN Killing Mephits and I was averaging like 16 - 21 DPS
Primary: Sheetmetal Ulak
Secondary: Master's Eitchatka
Hands: Silver Chitin Hand Wraps (Effect: Haste 1: Increase Attack Speed by 2% (L1) to 50% (L49))
Celerity (Increase Attack Speed by 47% (L39) to 50% (L44))
Pet was doing about 24 29 DPS
My DPS when spell damage was added in was 38DPS - 45DPS
Spells used:
Ice Spear BST/34 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 150 (Recast 30 Sec)
Frost Shard BST/49 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 300 (Recast 30 Sec)
Ice Shard BST/54 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 450 (Recast 30 Sec)
(Mephits I could cast 2x all spells on them for 1800 DD, The Nightmares (Black horses N of Hobgoblins N river) I could do 3x will these spells for 2700.. This dosent include my DoT for 450 that I cast 2x on both and for full effect)
Now add this spell and add in 400+DD every 10sec if you want to burn your mana that fast. These fights were lasting 112 sec on average so in theroy we could raise our Spell DD from this one alone 4000DD now you are looking at 6700 Spell DD in this fight + Warder + H2H, I would assume that my DPS would be 70+.... How long do you think I would live if I took the Aggro from the MT doing this.. Though I will say that I was in good hands cause I was with a pally that was a damm good chain stunner and would not loose aggro no matter what or how many spells I cast or got resisted.

Just FYI your fists have a better ratio than either of these weapons at your level.. by 64 you should have some better weapons. At level 55 I can make 1k on average per KEI period while getting good xp in Dulak which has allowed me to easily save up enough for the Waning Light Katar (16/22 ratio).. There are other places you can get good pp and xp too of course but Dulak is the best I have found for around level 50-56.

Aye, those are horrid weapons for that level. Easily find/buy better that aren't very pricey. No wonder he had such horrid DPS

We have 54 lvl ice shard for 450hp with 150 mana. Why is this spell of value?
The only value I see is another spell to cast while we wait for reset of the Ice Shard spell.

The simple answer to your question is recast time. Ice Shard's recast is 30 sec while this, Blizzard Blast, is only 2.

I know that this is alot of casting but as you can see that the spell DPS just alittle more than doubbled. I do understand that not all spells land for full effect and dots dont always do max dammage but I am just putting this out at max lvls so you all can see the numbers

Yeah Sor that's really nice for a lvl 70 with 5500mana but what about a lvl 59 who just got this spell and isn't a super twink? You are talking 2545 mana in a 1 min fight. Then you sit for 1/2 hour while you get your mana back so you can do it again......
While I agree it helps due to the short cast time I think Sor got knocked on the head a few too many times to be casting it like this. (I really hope that was just an example, would hate to think that's the way you play a BL :-O )

This was one of our original nukes from the shaman line before the new ones that are BST only, and much better were added in PoP.
