False, these are available in Freeport near the temple of mar.

why do they give us useless discs like these and not give something like what is in alla? the spells? i only use this disc if i hit the key by mistake! useless! SOE...Get a clue. Make the lower lvls fun to play as well!

Apparently Your not One That likes to have increased resists to Magic, Fire, Ice, and Poison cause thats exactly what this gives you.

How do you make a hot key for the disciplines? I turned in the Tome to GM and cannot get a screen up that allows me to make a hot key. Looked through combat abilities and tried /disc got nothing.
Use ALT+C to open your combat abilities window, then click on 'S' and the ability to hotkey the discipline. Then you can use it.

Tana Clawgaurd has all 4 tomes. She is found in the library in POK. She only sells the Tomes. After getting it, you find a guildmaster and give it to him and he tells you to use your skill wisely. Then you bring up your combat abilities and make a hot key for it. As stated elsewhere, adds +10 to your Resists. Lasts a very short time, but maybe it's long enough to kill one Gnoll in Jagged Pine (SNICKER)

I have this discipline and can use it and I'm only lvl 14. Must be a mistake in the posting or they changed it after I learned the skill.
I'm using it with my Berserker along with focus will. Check in game when you get this one, may be sooner then you think.

This discipline and fear and others are no longer linked so feel free to use it. The 10 bonus is still rather bogus though. Since it only lasts a short time and has a long refresh they could at least give you 50 or 100.
As for fear disc, well, if you raid a mob that fears you can use your discipline. Won't last long enough to get you through the whole fight but it will help.

Why the hell would Shadowknight get this at lvl 51 when a Paladin gets it at lvl 30. Both Paladin and SK should get at lvl 51 as they are both hybrids.

i found all 4 on tana clawguard in pok library
go in on the left and go up one lvl she on the same lvl as magician spells.
then give to your gm, hope this helps

You can also find all of the disciplines on the new merchants in the Eastern Commonlands Tunnel, not like that place needs any more npcs..

This is a book you buy in the library in PoK (may be elsewhere as well) Enter and on the left side lower floor. Then turn it in to your Guildmaster. You can make a hot key to go in the new Combat Abilities window. =)

Yes, this is ONLY a discipline. Hybrids get this at level 51, pure melee get this at level 30. It seems SoE may be changing it with the new melee up grades. This raises ALL resists by 10 for *I believe* 2 1/2 minutes. This discipline is rather useless in my opinion. But if you have no others to use, or just fearless after this, then use it. Fearless is more useless than this one. I believe Fearless is lv 35 for pure melee and lv 54 for hybrids at the moment. Lord rorourke was right about typing /disc. Each pure melee/hybrid can do this in game, but depending on the discipline it can be used once every 4 minutes up to every 72 minutes. Resistant is a 72 minute timer that goes down as your level increases. Hybrids only have 4 disciplines at the moment, but hopefully everyone will get a nice upgrade to them. Also I believe that SoE is trying to set disciplines so they're on their own timer, not on each other's timer. This means you'll be able to burn every discipline you have right in a row, rather than taking time to choose which one you should use.

Is this an error? Paladin is a hybrid but listed at level 30 for this discipline... Guess I'll have to dust off my 50 Pally and check this out...

SoE is publishing Malee upgrades. This is one of em. Others include a Warrior TOT ( taunt over time) these are abilities that you can use periodicly to increase your DPS,aggro,mitigation. you can use these like Bash,Taunt,kick that is already in use. these are to make us stronger in the face of our casting counterparts. Look forward to updating this so keep checkin back.

Not a spell listed on Casters Realm, not found on any AA window, possibly this is Allakhazam's way of listing the disciplines? If you type /disc in game you'll get a listing of various disciplines, one of which is called Resistant, though I had thought that it would have something to do with our Saves and not some sort of melee mitigation (what is melee mitigation anyway?). Can anyone help make sense of these? Thanks!

Don't quote me on this, but I believe damage mitigation is lowering the amount of damage you take from successful hits. If you ever played that werewolf pen and paper rpg, it's like "soaking" damage. At least that's how I've had it explained to me.
