Its just kinda interesting that you hve to be LVL40 to obtain the staff. But its on LvL 60+ based mabs. Plus the spell is rated at Lvl20 wiz, who is not able to equip the spell at that level.

The lvl 16 AE spell "Pillar of Fire" does the same amount of damage for a lot less mana used.
AE radius is 35 compared to 15 for Pillar of fire. Double the AE radius may or may not be worth it.

These runes are dropped in the Paludal Caverns by recondite ppl.....have fun - be safe.
I was wondering where the rune of Al'kabor and the rune of velious drop. I've seen the rune al'kabor in the bazaar for 100pp certainly the spell isn't worth that much is it??

that answer to that is a resounding no. as with most (if not all) al'kabor spells this spell is farily useless. (it does has its use but the chances you'll actually get a chance to use are slim. but the rune of al'kabor is used for all of the al'kabor spells. and while most wizards will never use this spell most will have it for the sake of completion.

This is a spell created using research skill. It uses the Rune of Al'Kabor and a Rune of velious. I hope this info helps. Good Luck.
