as a ranger shaman bard bst and druid player i have this songs equivlent on all of my charactors, yes its useless even if you just have run 2 as you all say run 3 non stop you obvisly have overlooked that the run aa's work on 5% per level so a 10% run speed spell is nothing but run 2, yes usless when you are able to move faster, but the usefull ness is for those times when your say oh pling a lower level in zones that are indoors, and i dont see that on this spell but on the shaman ranger bst and druid version this effect has ultra vision, which is what my bst used it for alot sence barbarions dont have the best night vission. if your not 51+, have rs2 and dont care to ever escort lower level charactors through indoor area's save your time and adventure points. if you are below 51 and like dungons and other indoor zones or just like haveing some form of movement enhancement then buy the song its good for you to earn songs based on actions every once in ahile other then just farming plat)

Run AA's are not 5% per level. They are 10% per level, thus granting a 30% run increase at the Run 3 Rank. I'm not sure where you got that information, but in the 20's when a bard is intended to get this song 10% is better than crawling at snail pace in dungeons.

1. You need 36 EC adv points to buy it.

2. You ONLY want to use it INDOORS after sow has worn off.

3. Outdoors it is better to use your level 5 spell which is 20% min increase in speed vs a max of 10% increase on this spell.

Selo's Accelerando BRD/5 1: Increase Movement by 20% (L5) to 65% (L50)

Selo's Accelerating Chorus BRD/49 1: Increase Movement by 64% (L49) to 65% (L50)

Ok to clerify somethings for those of u who want this song,

2. You need to complete 26 adventures in EC.

3. You need 36 adventure points to buy it.

Hope this helped

Actually you're wrong on one part...

The number of Adventures you do has nothing to do with it. Depending on your level you get different amounts of points per completion. If you are say level 50, you can get up to 20-30 points for a single completed mission. So, all you really need is the 36 adventure points.

well, I'm not sure that you have to complete a full 26 adventures to get this. But I do know that to "unlock" better and better items from the adventure merchants you need to complete a certain amount of adventures of thier respective wayfarer camp.
I don't like you anymore

You might be confusing items with stats on your Wayfarers aug... which does indeed improve based on numbers of adventures completed.

thats not true either...what items you can buy in a camnp is based on the number of points you have earned in that camp as well. i think its about 150% of the total # of points you have earned in that camp, that you can see...lets you get a little planning in, on what you might want to buy. you can spend the points you have, FROM any given camp, on items from any camp, up to the amount of points actually earned in that camp. so, in the context of this spell, you need 36 points to get it, and need to have earned at least 36 points in this camp. but, theoretically, you could earn 420 points in this camp, and spend them all, leaving you with 0; then go to, say, the South Ro camp, do however many points it takes you, at your level, to get 36 points there, and return to this camp to buy the spell.

don't know what you are talking about. a level 70 does one adventure in ec he earns 51 points on normal he can buy anything in that camp that is 51 points or less even if he has earn 2k from another camp. the more you do in the camp the more you will see but if item is 200 points you might see it on vender when you have 199 points from that camp but until you get 200 points there you can not buy it. thats even if you have 200 points in bank from other camps. the number of adentures you do changes the aug incressing the stats every 10 or so adventures you do from that camp. it maxes out on one npc and they send you to anotehr depending on the camp. its just under 500 advents to max the che exact number basicly plus one mana hp every 10 advent in a camp plus one stat/save every 50 max aug is 10ac 10 all stats saves 100hpmana although the second incress is not 50 advents thus under 500 advents to max.

This song is decent. It can save some time within a dungeon if your group goes the wrong way. Or if you have to run from other indoor zones, Like Lower Guk.

From the East Commonland vendors it costs 36 points. Good luck, Songsters!

This comes from E Commons vendors and is definately worth it if you group with people who do not have the run3 AA yet but otherwise, I would say it is not worth it. It appears to me to be the same speed as Run3 even with a good drum but anyone who has run 3 knows how useful that is in a dungeon :)

my guess is that most level 25 bards will be grouping with people who dont have run 3

I got this song and IMHO it isn't nearly as fast as run3. It can give you a bit of an advantage over mobs if you need to turn tail and run to the zone though. I have tried it with a few different percussion instrements and I'm not sure that there is much, if any, difference in the speed.

Hmm, i wonder if this song will be faster than the spirit of shrew line if the bard has a good drum.

I play both a shaman and a bard and Spirit of Shrew gives 30% speed boost - better than this song =(

Bought using Adventure points
# Sep 10 2003 at 9:48 AM Rating: Decent
Costs 38 Adventure points to get so you must get adventure points in the LDoN areas to get it ... I have not seen any other bard songs in the 1 to 60 points range. I can only imagin how many points will be needed to get the 65 Bard Song.
It's never too late to give up all hope...
