The easiest way for us to do these sorts of updates is for you to either provide a price or to mail a log of the items for sale from the merchant to eqteam@allakhazam.com.

Thanks.

This use to be a real challenge when these spells were only available in Neriak 3rd gate and most enchanters were not Dark Elves. Heaven forbid you have to do anything out of the way with your chanter. If your gonna **** and moan make it something that's really dumb, not actual challenges to the individual toon. The game is not built for you to use powerful toons to gather your tools for you, it's made to test each individual toon and maybe running into guards that KOS you might make you think of another way to get your spells. If all you want is a rubber stamp game go play Diablo 1 again.

To create multiple vials of visous mana at one cast. Viscous mana vials are used in tradeskills.

The Mass spells can be bought in the East Commons tunnel from Tallik Jaggedfire and Palik Agrolm. They are a hair shy of 84pp a piece with the best charisma (83pp 9g and some change).

Be aware that they ARE no drop items.

They are not NO DROP, I've just bought Mass Thicken Mana and it isn't labelled as NO DROP. =)
Choose Carefully - NO DROP
# Jul 11 2003 at 6:43 PM Rating: Default
Be Careful when buying that you are buying for the character who is going to scribe it. These new spells are NO DROP. I had my druid who was here to pick up mass imbue emerald buy a few for my chanter and then to my disgust discovered they could not be transfered.

This is REALLY stupid to make them no drop - it serves no purpose. It's not like they are for a new expansion that Sony wants to restrict access to them to the expansion holders only. All it does is make every character who wants them have to make the trip to EC tunnel.

Booooooo Sony

Have now had a conversation with a GM - According to him/her the No Drop is a purposeful design feature! Again it serves absolutely no purpose other than frustration, wasted time and potential loss for buying the wrong spell as you can't transfer or sell it back!

Double BOOOOO! Sony!

The purpose is that this game is supposed to be a challenge and doesnt make sense when everything can be done by your *Higher* alts instead of working hard with your younger ones too. It is not all that hard for an enchanter to go run and get i mean come on why complain about that.

Disliking being argumentative, I am non-the-less going to add my 2 cents on this topic.
You stated 'The purpose is that this game is supposed to be a challenge', followed by 'it is not all that hard for an enchanter to go run and get'... So, it seems that making the enchanter spend 15 minutes minimum (Assuming you start in PoK, have PoP, have a cable modem so zoning's fast, and am familiar w/ the lay of the land, and are not KoS to the FP guards) to go get these spells, as well as making the same players magician spend 15 minutes, and their bard, etc. etc. does NOT serve that purpose.
Therefor, the booo Sony seems somewhat appropriate. I think making many spells hard to get (high lvl quest spells and such) is really a neat feature... but these spells aren't hard to get; they're just tedious to get.

I gotta play in on this one ... If you have Lost Dungeons of Norrath, it is nothing to jump Adventure camps over good 'ole Shady and buy these spells from the vendors that sell them. I for one think that is no challenge or inconvenience either way. It is NOT suppose to be a simple matter to acquire magic and power.

Boo Sony? You want to boo Sony, fine. But do it for a reason other then this crap. Take the new reclain energy nerf for instance. Big time boo Sony on that one.

Nerfed Reclaim Energy? It was pretty useless to begin with. What could they POSSIBLY have nerfed about it?

because.. at lvl 65. mage or necro pets are alot of mana.. and if u need mana and not fighting.. if u reclaim energy u get all the mana back.. now that they nerfed it , its only 75% mana back Now
