Words of Spoken dropped this morning in Netherbain Lair off of a Fungoid.
words of spoken just dropped for me in the basement of kurns tower off a badger ,,hope this helps ,, i like useing this spell it;s just a fun spell to use and it helps raise my divintation skills
Can you use this spell to have your pet talk to NPCs to speak text triggers? If so, what happens if the NPC responds by giving an item; does it go to the pet or to you?

I had a Word of Posession drop in DSP at GE zone line off a Trible gatherer, i have yet to find Words of Spoken

i've seen the words of spoken dropped at the field of bones in the pit that's near the tower... I do not remember exactly which mob dropped it, only that i ended up with a few when i lvled there. I hope this helps...
Contrary to the spell description, the effect seems to work at much more than 100 range. However, it requires you to target your pet and the pet must be in line of sight.
(BTW, for those who don't know, doors usually don't block line of sight but walls usually do)
While the spell lasts, everything you say in /say while targeting your pet will come out as if your pet said it. But if you target yourself (or anything else other than your pet), /say will work normally.

Too bad mages dont get a spell like this. Afterall, we are one of the primary pet classes. Hey, to even it out you can even call it something like "Elemental Speech". I dont like the idea of spending 8k for a crappy pair of sleeves just to get this spell.

There is actually an arms slot item called "Envenomed Sleeves" that Magicians can use..

Words of spoken can drop in kurns or in unrest.

Quit your ******** about spells being 'useless'... It's fun and that's why the game was made. Just like the spell: flare. Everyone says it's stupid, but it's great for pointing out mobs in a crowded area, and it's good for pointing out a direction.
Edit~~ Also this is an RPG game, and this is an role-playing spell. Even if you're not deep into the role-playing aspects of the game, it's fun to pretend; Like when you kill a green mob just because he's a human, or just because he's a troll.

Words of Possession + Words of Spoken
Words of Possession + Words of Spoken

It is good for Roleplaying with you Necro. You can make yourself argue with your pet, or talk to different people, lol.

Not useless =P It's fun for newbies lol
It is fun for not so newbie's too. I like to hold conversations with my pet in public. I make him out to be a bookeeper in his former life and I tell him he sux as a tank because he never learned to fight as a bookeeper. He tells me his brother would be much better at is since he was in the Qeynos military before he was killed in battle and I would do well to release him from my spell and summon his brother instead.
Finally he gets so beligerent that I have to dismiss him in disgust at his attitude. It is fun and that is what this game is all about. Use it and enjoy the game more.
The way you use it is to cast the spell and then target your pet to speak through him. In Eg. Just type in /say Master, why did you summon me from my sleep?
Then target yourself and /say Because I needed your assistance on a quest to recover the lost treasure of Norrath, but I insist that you behave and stay quiet as I think on my plans.
Target your pet again, etc.. etc..

You dont need alot of trival to make this spell, i had 2 copies of each of the words, with 16 trival i did the fist combine, a sucess, i tried it with the spare words i had and made 2 copies
