i use spiek of disease, the level 1 SK spell all the time.. infact, its part of my attack routine...extra 15 damage never can hurt me, but it can them... i find it dosnt risist often at all, not as much as my latest engulfing dot.... but reload time suks... cant wait to try this version of it
Maybe it's just me, but in situations where that extra damage is really going to be needed over the ability to just keep the mob distracted (soloing over grouping) I'd much rather use heat blood because it costs much less and does quite a bit more for the damage per mana. Especially with how quickly SK's mana is drained, this spell seems like just flavor damage in a battle where you have enough DPS to pull it off but they need somebody to keep it off of them. Remember, group members are the strongest dot =P
Just as well it aint Evoc, or i'd be in deep trouble hehe, evoc 14 at lvl 34 hehe. Havent got an Evoc spell...
You get Ward Undead at 18. Just find a zone with bunches of undead, get some decent mana regen, and go to town. The damage is crap but at least it helps keep your Evocation up for later spells.
An even easier way to practice Evocation: cast Ward Undead on your PET! It doesn't actually do any damage to the pet, but it CAN give you skillups!
why isn't this evocation? it's more or less a nuke, regardless of the fact that it's disease based (and has a poison icon). don make no sinse to mehz

Most poison or disease based spells are conjuring. There are 2 reasons for this:
1. There weren't enough conjuring spells in EQ so sony had to make more :)
2. Your conjuring a spear of disease. It just so happens that your conjuring it to appear over your enemys head (or in it maybe)

Still use this spell regularly at 65 to tag mobs. It dosent do enough damage to get you summoned, but the .5 cast time is owny for pulling

Nice Spell to cast on the Casters classes that use PoG Gives 210 hit points more then Marzin's Mark.
