heres a question for any who may know as im trying to upgrade augs ... does the mana preservation effect from personal or guild tribute stack with mana pres augs ?

someone told me no because they are worn but i dont understand how the guild /persoanl tribute is worn as it doesnt change anything about the items im wearing or the augs in those items.

can anyone help me understand this or clear up that misconception please
thanks in advance
66+ Spells

It now read "(lose 10% per level over cap)"
does this mean that at 66 level, its it 9%, and 8% at 67, etc? lose 10% of 10?, or 1% per level over?
This would seem correct via the quick math that i've looked at when casting spells above 65.

it would be 10% less effective if you cast a lvl 66 spell (20% if you cast a 67), but you will see full effect if you cast a lvl 64 spell.
Spell cost check?

Hi there,

I have a quick question about mana preservation effects. I've always just assumed how it works, but never actually done or heard of anyone testing it to be sure so I figured I'd ask here. . .

When you cast a spell it checks the spells mana cost and if you have enough mana, it casts. Now, when you have mana preservation on, does it still check for the same amount of mana, or the reduced amount?

I always thought it checked for the normal spell cost, then just 'gave you back' the preserved mana. Is that right, or am I totally off?

Thanks in advance :)

You have to have the mana to cast the spell. The MP effect just reduces the mana used after casting.
Stackable?

The effects do not stack, it takes whichever is more effective of a mana reduction. The enchanter ornate sleeves have the MP4 effect, the ornate gloves have a mana reduction specifically for our nuke. When I cast my nuke ONLY my gloves sparkle, whereas every other spell I cast shows my arms sparkling. Hope this helps

Erowydd - 65 Enchanter
Akashaa - 62 Cleric
