U do that math on this.
Using the previous 3 ice spells given a BL and this one, you can continually cast Ice damage on ur opponent. Combined with the pet AA hobble and an occasional pet heal, u can take down ur opponent without even resorting to melee.

Why bother to buy this spell for like 5k from players ? when blizzard blast on lvl 59 do 420 Dmg and it doesent have 30 seconda recast time like this you can cast 2 blizzard blast or 3 when your only able to cast this spell once so in my opinion this spell sux.. or am I missing ennything?
its all about mana efficiency. this spell is only 50 mana more than the 59 spell, but it does 200 more dmg, a combination of using this spell when it pops and also the 59 spell would be my preferred setup

Actually the original post is correct. This spell makes no sense, as its supposed to be an upgrade to our level 54 "ice shard" spell which also has the same long recast delay. That spell does between 450 and 450 damage.
This spell does the same damage, with a CHANCE to do a little higher damage(up to 675), at almost double the mana cost. Its definitely not mana efficent, and a downgrade if you ask me.

The problem I'm seeing here though is it's off the curve...the lower level BL nukes have a dmg to mana ratio of 3, this one is a little less...it should do 750 with a 30 second refresh to be in line with the other BL nukes
