I am not even going to bother hunting for this one. If I get it, fine. None of the summoned spells I tried worked on Takish mobs with summoned in their names.

In HoH it mezzes the elementals for all of 4 seconds.

Do any of you wonderfully accomplished Mages know where I can find the spell that allows your pet to speak. I'm trying to find it for a Christmas present for a dear friend of mine.

mages per say don't get a spell to talk thru are pets but we can get an item witch will let us do it and that is envenoumed sleeves https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=15228. rare they are and good luck on getting them....
side note as of this posting the effect is broken and you cant talk thru your pets :(

Is it me or is this spell rarer than most if not all of the other PoP spells. I've turned in a lot of parchments and check the bazaar frequently and don't think I've EVER seen it. There are 1 or 2 others spells that I have never seen also but yet some that I see all the time - is this actually the way it is or is it just sort of wierd randomness. I'm on Kane Bayle, btw.

This spell is quite useful, especially in camps like Mavuin's Basement (Stone guys), and just about all the mobs in Takish in LDoN
Only SUMMONED targets...
since we only get special spells that target summoned creatures, we hardly get to use them. EQ is not heavily populated with high lvl summoned creatures from what i have seen... but in planes like BoT it is useful when fighting some of the summoned creatures there, or when using call of the arch mage to charm one. if charm breaks can use this to try and stop mob for a recharm.

So, ummm...it's a mez, now can someone tell me what the drawback is? Let me guess, we have to get a druid to imbue a plains pebble for us as a reagent? No no wait...we have to get a gnome to tinker us a reagent?!

Well, thank the gods you didn't get into a "I've been nerfed, all you other classes are favorites" type of post, though you treaded close. My thoughts are, ALL nerfs to ALL classes are bad, since we all fight together and any abilities we bring to a group, regardless of class are a good thing.
I wish you folks would quit thinking along the lines of "class competition", and think a little more along the lines of "class cooperation". All nerfs are bad, no matter what you class is, and all classes have suffered through nerfs!
I'm tired of hearing.."they gave X class the Y ability, and it makes me usless now". Oh, pity! It doesn't make any class useless, just makes the total group more powerful, be thankful for it.

Actually, I was just being sarchastic... VERY much so in fact. I am happy w/ the new pet changes. Now my pet can cast some nice spells, but I have been very upset over alot of our PoP stuff, but since this is not the area for class issues I'll stop here.
Anyone know if this spell is good? Does it work on PoP MOBs, also says it's 5 ticks, so that's 30 seconds I believe, not bad, and w/ 3 second cast time it could help on CRs if you get agro. I don't think we'll be replacing Enchanters or Necros anytime soon though. So, your job is secure for now Darksaber :)
