Really annoying imo, they essentially blind you for 10 seconds unless you zoom way out in 3rd person. If there was some way to disable the effect specifically for this spell, i'd sign up in a heartbeat.

Wizzy's have the same (or very similar) effect on ice comet line. Isn't nearly as annoying when the mob isn't right in your face. Bet the melee's love it though.

With a 30 second recast time, and the fact that it does not much more damage than dustdevil which has about 3 second recast time, is it really worth using?

It's a quick damage spell.

If you were to parse our dps (at least at this point in the game), you'd probably see that you actually -lose- dps by using long-casting spells (such as firestrike, dustdevil, etc.) when you could be beating on the mob.

So, there are nice half-second casting spells, with a fairly long reuse timer... burning arrow, flaming arrow, etc. come to mind.

All in all, they are quite nice, in my opinion... and definately worth it.

I never play with spell particles on, but if you have this spell turn particles to high and watch the particles around you and the mob your casting on. It's neat =D
