this like all other spells for any class has its own uses depending on how said person plays his/her class. considering this counts as a DD spell the ID foci will work giving this around 600 non crit. seems it would be a great spell for farming/faction work, yes 510 unmodified wont do much to a mob at this lvl but its not meant to put a dent in anything, it just gives you and most likely your grp a chance even things up some. my only real advice is get the spell play with it and see where it fits with your playing style.

The paladin heal costs like 500 mana though... ide rather have this life tap than a 1100 pt heal... im happy with the 62 LT atm... nice 350 heal : )

Sk discs and spells are pretty crappy as far as any non aggro/snare affect till you spend 50 aa.. after that they pretty pimp but ya gotta slave to ding 65 then slave to ding 65 more aas before your a respectable main tank seeing as our dps is so miserably low with repsect to the cloth/leather/chain classes as to be near insignificant

If what you're asking is related to the "cast on you" reaction info, it's meant to say what your reaction is if someone else casts it on you, such as on a player vs. player server. Besides, if you DID try to cast it on yourself, you get the message, "you cannot drain yourself!". Hope that clears it up.

this means it takes that 470 DD that just hit the mob will be added to your life
//of course pallies get a 1125 hp heal at 61 so shouldnt our 61 tap ne 565?
Resist: Magic (-500)
gawd i hope this means its unresistable
actual defination means the mob gets a resistance check against magic to resist/partial resist the spell but with a neg 500 to MR modifier
the spell cast time is such that its high enough that you get all the spell haste effects added onto this thing (hybrid haste + item) the 10 sec recast time is painful
recast time Doh no chain casting for you
In the end this is not a DD spell really but the sk heal even with SCF3 its 940 + 950 * (random1-20%) DMG which at 65 isnt gonna make a huge dent in things your fighting for xp, what your hoping for is SCF3 to kick (7%?) and ToL3 to give ya an 1880 + 1880(random1-20%) heal.. ok really without SCF3 and ToL3..
so in summary be prepared to suck till you spend 12 AA in spell casting fury
6 AA in theft of Life
also in the self healing line of sks Soul Abbresion
18 AA in soul abbresion for for those self weapon procs
once ya get those ya might be able to beat down a light blue con without having to aggro kite

This spell comes into its own on real servers, where it's absolutely never resisted in pvp.
