Waist of my time (so far). For 1 it does not have 1/2 the casting time, as RamgarSK says. Casting time on ToV, 3.0 (1.6) Casting time on Drain Soul 3.2 (1.8)
2. With a mana cost of 43 points higher than Drain Soul, and only 10 more hp's, its not very mana eficient.
3. It has a longer recast time than Drain Soul. DS can be chain cast, ToV has about a 8 second recast time.
4. I am lvl 65 and have raided the PoP zones. So far I have had 0 resists on either of the spells.
IMHO skip ToV and wait for Touch of Innoruk. 500+ hp LT. and with Touch of Life AA's, its easy to get crits in the 1k.

I have this spell memorize along with drain soul . As drain soul still have long casting time even at 65 , with blessing of rev cast on me .The 280 mana is worth it as im usually Mt in most groups anyway , even if a warrior in group . As i can hold agro easier then they can . Anfd getting interupted when trying to cast DS is usually not a option when getting beat on .
So is the huge casting cost of this 350 pt lifetap justified by the fact it is near
unresistable? If thats the only benefit of this spell over drain soul i must say it seems EXTREMELY limited in its use, seeing as anything with a high MR that I fight generally gets tashed maloed and if it stacks aura of darknessed (just dinged 61 so dunno).. Any higher sks who have used this spell wanna shed some light on this subject to those of us who are trying to decide whether or not to pick up this spell in the bazaar? (Ive noticed that most sk spells are fairly cheap and common 61-63 in the bazaar) with the only rare being aura.

High level pvp resistances easily bounce standard lifetaps.
Casting time is half that of Drain Soul.
