Hopefully SKs will get a new snare soon. This snare served its use but with new exps like GoD, OOW, DoN, and DoDH this snare gets more resists than worth casting 5 to 6 times per mob. I know the ranger DoN snare is instant aggro in Anguish and would be nice to get an upgraded snare that is more effective for the newer zones.

This is definitly an improvement over the nearly useless Cascading Darkness. 300 mana is too much for a snare when there is no time to sit and med. At only 175 mana and with a 2 minute stick time, this is a good bit more efficient than the previous ones. All I care about is agro and duration of snare.

Best snare EVAH! This spell generates more aggro then tash OR slow but not both, generally snare + fear/terror line will be all you need to overcome chanty slow aggro so i like to pull with fear (assuming it wont actually stick) then snare it when it gets close to camp so hopefully the mob is slow by the time it hits me
