Is it just me or does this spell drop at all the worst possible times? Seems like i could be in PoK and have it on for the entire time, but if I'm in a zone and a mob looks at me, it drops.

I don't know if you were just being sarcastic, but just in case... the "superior" Invis spells, Invis, Invis vs. Udead, camo, etc. have a set duration.
If it's called Superior, it will last for 24 minutes after you cast it, unless you break invis yourself, or get hit by a mob that can see thru invis. Needless to say, this is a huge advantage over the first rank invises, which could randomly drop at any old time. So if your having problems with this spell dropping, check a clock when you cast it, make sure you're not attacking, casting, or looting anything while in a dangerous spot, and con any mob you are going to get within aggro range of to make sure they con "indifferent." Good luck.

Sorry but NO. The invis spells with a set duration are titled with the word "Improved". 'Improved Superior Camouflage' 'Improved Invisibility' 'Improved Invis to Undead' Except for the Mage spell Veil of Elements. They last for 10 minutes, Not 24 and are self only.
