Yes single buffs will get overwriten, but if you cast tailsman of rhino or tailsman of the raptor before you cast focus they will stay on. When they wear off you will not be able to cast them on again till focus fades. This I have done myself so I know it works.

so what does the stacking mean? it stack with other str,dex spells? or no?
Focus of anykind unfortunately does NOT stack with ANYTHING...
It will strip all your Str/Dex and some HP/Sta buffs..
Its one and only benefit is it takes up less buff slots

Three buffs do stack with Focus: Strength of the Diaku, Talisman of the Diaku, and Ferine Avatar.
Focus overwrites any buff less than 67, so it kills single stat buffs. However, the Diaku spells were specifically designed to stack with Focus, so they're an exception to this rule.
Odds are, they did this to make Focus actually usable before level 65 and Ferine Avatar, because you can get stats much higher by using stat buffs and Infusion of Spirit, then using Talisman of Kragg for the HP component. More buffs, but in the end you only trade 52HP for higher stats because Infusion of Spirit also buffs Stamina, which increases HP by itself. Focus and Diaku are only 2 buffs you have to maintain, so it's less stress on the shaman to keep those up than Mortal Deftness, Maniacal Strength, Infusion of Spirit, and Talisman of Kragg. ;)
