Blood of the Adherent  

Interesting and under-rated spell. Some clerics don't even seem to know exactly what it does. At level 95 the stats on it seem pretty weak. But it's the viral aspect that makes it very very powerful if you're doing any kind of aoe killing. It spreads VERY quickly. I tested this with a pull of about 40 mobs onto my warrior. I cast this spell on ONE of the mobs. Within a few seconds I could not find even one of the 40 that did NOT have this spell upon it. That's FAST!

Note, though, that the credit for the damage shield portion goes to the caster's group. Unlike "regular" druid and mage type damage shields, whose damage is credited to nobody. This means that THIS spell is NOT good for aoe PLing where the puller tanks the mobs without doing any direct damage himself and the PLee casts an aoe damage spell and earns all the credit when the mobs pound themselves to death on the tank's damage shields.

Interesting that no upgrade to this spell line came with level 96-100. That makes me wonder if the devs think it's already too powerful...
