If you target a pet does it unfold for them?
I tried that and then opened a bag to try to give it one of the items and it would not take it

I noticed a lot of players like to avoid giving their pets these jewelry and accessory items. I highly recommend using them, the bonus you get (especially from this high end spell) make your pet noticeably stronger in every way possible.
Here are the items summoned by this spell:
Enibik's Satin Choker
Enibik's Woven Shawl
Enibik's Linked Bracelet
Enibik's Gold Ring
Enibik's Ridged Earhoop
Enibik's Jade Bracelet
Also, for those that don't know... These final series of "Grant" pet toys all can be summoned directly into your targeted location. So target yourself or other people and it casts into them without the need of trading it.
The other advantage of this final series of pet toys is that they are stored inside folded bags. Which allow you to stack up a supply of them. Often people will ask me for 2-3 sets of weapons/masks/armor/jewelry before they take off.
All of these folded pet toy bags can be stored in other bags for later use.
When bags are still folded up there is no duplicate item warnings to prevent owning multiple versions in your storage.
