The Bard "ECHO" songs are Auras that stay in place where you CAST them (like at your group's camp spot). The Bard must maintain the Aura so you cannot remove it and cast another without the Echo dropping at the group site.

So it seems at 87 Bards get Aura of Renewal and a Song: Echo of Renewal.
However, Song: Echo of Renewal is really an Aura, sits in the Aura box blocks other Aura casts and is blocked by other previous Auras.
The effect which as far as I can tell is identical to Aura of Renewal.
Duplicate Songs at 87? What a waste of a Lesser Nebulous Dream Fragment.

Pretty useful. It is an aura but when you cast you'll notice a little lute pop up. The aura hits anyone standing around that lute, not your toon like your other auras. So if you're pulling (which is obviously a very common thing for bards) the aura from the lute will stay on your group while you're out and about.
