I don't know if this spell just doesn't work on creatures at a certain level or not but it has NEVER landed for me. It NEVER lands when I was hunting in Code of Decay. It also NEVER lands on any of the giants in Bastion of Thunder. I haven't tried it anywhere else so maybe it works on creatures that con dark blue and lower.

Well the problem with using spells like this in BoT or CRYPT of Decay is most of the planar creatures have high resists to most types of magic; Especially true of the giants in BoT. The Jord giants are magic resistant; The brann are Fire resistant ( I think I have that right :D) Vinn are wind resistant and so on. Your spells WILL NOT LAND on the Giants if they are resistant to that type and you are too low of level (61 I believe you start hitting); Even then you will most times only manage 70% or lower force on evocations, most of the time slow doesn't hit either unless you are 62+.
This spell does hit creatures of equal level to the Crypt creatures or Giants, just not on the planes.

at 58 your str/sta is going to be close to or at lvl max but anything that increases the overall dps and life expectency of the group is fine by me. thinking this will have a secondary argo holding effect as well since all cripple type spells seem to draw a large amount of argo, even one such as this. I'd use it out of spite if for nothing else.

I think it'll be usefull, the group recourse seems cool too. I'll be using it in a couple levels.

Anyone use this spell? IMHO it's not even worth scribing. Anyone care to set me straight on that?
