The reciepe listed for this spell makes Gangrenous Touch of Zum'uul not Zevfeer's Theft of Vitae if some one could get the right reciepe for this spell I for one would be gratefull

I thought taps were magic resist, akin to how darkness line is magic resist.

Taps are, historically, very hard to resist, which makes it seem they're not poison or disease, which are resisted quite a bit. I am often tempted to give up on casting poison and disease dots, 'cause they get resisted more than anything else...but almost never have a problem with lifetap over time spells.

this spell would be nice to have for a all caster pet ldon party. since getting a cleric or a tank to do a ldon anymore is harder since other zones came out. and yes I still do ldons at this level the pet aug from NRO will be great to have.

Z's is a group lifetap over time. It puts a 80hp per tick DoT on the mob and puts a 80hp HoT (heal over time) on all your group members in range. It is an excellent spell when your group has lax aggro control or if there are AoEs or caster mobs. In groups like this, several people are generally taking damage (not just the tank), and using this spell takes a lot of pressure and mana use off the healer. Works wonders in hard LDoNs.

Last one was indeed 80 HPs HoT. Difference is, this one is group, last one was self.

im almost positive this spell was on Poison resist tables, like the other taps. seems they are on disease now, and are resisted a lot less with the changes Veran.. err SOE made to resists a while back.

this spell is wonderful for aoe'ing mobs, takes the edge off the urgency for group healers to keep everyone alive. this coupled with Shadowbond and Pact of Shadow (yes, they do stack, just takes timing), i can keep a MT alive if a cleric goes down. maybe not on PoP mobs.. but if your cleric goes down, chances are you arent far behind.
