This is a spell you can use to practice your Conjuration skill... particularly if you don't have a lower level spell with which to practice.

This is true. But you will need to destroy the Halo each time. At first I thought you'd get the skillup even if you get the error message "Duplicate Lore items are not allowed". It seems like I got one or two skillups that way. But after about another 100 casts I got NO skillups so I think at some point the server does a check and won't allow you skillups as long as you are attempting to create a Lore item which you already possess.

I know this is an old post, but I was just toying with this today and had no problems getting almost 50 points of conjuration skill up with it without deleting the halo itself. It's a fine way to practice conjuration.
