Hardly...

This spell is 36 mana and does 106 damage...Lifedraw is 86 mana for 105 damage. This is a great spell line...

low cost? okay, the reuse timer is much lower than spear of darkness, but i rarely chain casting against a mob, that would drain my mana too fast... and spear of darkness does 130 dam to all target, undead or not, for only 50mana... vs the 94dam for 60mana...

I think this was recently improved because 100 damage for 36 mana is an excellent ratio and is probably about as effeicent as wizard dd at this level.
