I use it as a type of snare. When I am soloing lower mobs in dragonscale to do a task i hit mob with it just before 20% so he can't run. Works great and with mobs back turned you can up weapon skill for all its worth. Also use it when your merc can't follow to well just cast rune then hit mob with this and drag mob out for group to kill
yes the mob will be glued to your feet and you need someone to keep agro so it doesn't beat on you. Keeps the mob right with you. nice way to keep unmezzabe mobs separated.

I just spent a rediculus amount of plat buying rk II in the baz because reading the desciption i thought this spell was a way of pulling a single out of a crowded room. But it seems to aggro everything around it like any nuke would except it doesn't do any damage. So whats the use of this spell? In game description says a long range short duration gravitation. Maybe it can pull a single from long distance? haven't played with it much but so far its just a way of aggroing a mob and everything around it without dmg which is pretty useless. Anyone who has played with it more found its true purpose?

The effect of this spell is that it makes the mob glue to your feet, BUT you have to be close to it in order for it to happen.

The true usage of this spell is to bind a mob that needs to be controlled. It is extremely valuable in raids, where the Boss needs to be kept away from the rest of the mobs until the raid party is ready for it. Our guild used it extensively in some of the HoT raids like Roots of Evil and the Library Raid, The Librarian's Nightmare where the Librarian needed to be kept occupied until after the other steps were completed. We parked an Enchanter at the top of the Library and had him leash the Librarian while we had an SK keep hate spells on her.
