How can this spell be replaced by even the level 70 healing spells when they only heal for a bit over 3k, this one a little bit less, but it can heal for up to 75% of target max hp, at level 70 that will be a large amount no matter the class, wouldnt this be a better heal than the higher ones? or is there a reason to keep upgrading
RE: uh wtf
# Mar 29 2006 at 10:36 AM Rating: Decent
It heals for 75% of target's max hp up to 2925 hp (without AAs). It won't heal for more than 2925 (+whatever healing AAs) no matter how much the target's max hp is. Also, with the exception of Karana's Renewal, the higher level heals have much faster casting times, and can be improved with focus effects as well as AAs (while Tunare's Renewal and Karana's Renewal are unaffected by focus effects).

the max 75% was eliminated LONG ago. it used to heal your target to a max of 75% hp.

It will heal to full now.

However...they dont crit.
IH3 & IH4 items...
# Oct 25 2003 at 1:45 PM Rating: Decent
Would an Improved Healing III or IV item bring the max up any higher or not have any effect at all on the 70% limit?

Don't you think that 10.00 seconds is a lifetime to wait to heal someone and costing 400 mana????

Arimor.

5pp
# Sep 06 2003 at 7:17 PM Rating: Decent
Yep, I got this one for 5pp in Shadow Haven from Sarlos Windwalker. Luckily I read the previous posts, otherwise I was going to buy it for 1500pp in the bazaar. Wonder if it will actually sell. Suppose you could make some good money buying it in SH and selling in the bazaar. But then how would you sleep at night?!!

Awhile back a pair of peeps were trying to sell this in the baz on Tunare for 8.5k. That's right... 8500pp. Smiley: oyvey Think it was just one of those things like a pod of water for 100000. If it came up I'd mention that you could hop across to SH and pick it up for 5p. This is a great example why you should always research your items first Smiley: lol

Question 75%?
# Dec 30 2002 at 7:43 PM Rating: Decent
Question the 75%

Is that a maximum of 75% of their health or to a maximum of 75% of their health.

I.E

Mr. Orge warrior has 4,000 hitpoint (he is not so uber but easy for orge math).

and it wounded down to 2,000 HP (half health).

We cast Tunare's Renewal. Us he healed to Full (health as 75% of 4000 would be 3000hp (or actually capped at teh 2925hp) which would heal him all the way.

Or if he healed to 3,000hp (75% of his health).

Reading the posts it sounds like that later deal, but honestly that does not sound that bad, since as long as you cast when they are above 25% health they go back to full health
RE: Question 75%?
# Mar 14 2003 at 1:06 PM Rating: Decent
this spell heals for 2925 HP, or 75% of the target's max. health, whichever is less.

e.g.:

if cast on a character with 5000 max. hp, it heals for 2925.

if cast on a lowbie character with 200 max. hp, it heals for 150.

The 75% refers to the total HP of the recipient, not the 3/4 mark on the health bar.

In the case of the Ogre who has 4000hp, this spell will heal 3000hp (75% of his total) even if healing him would push his health past the 3/4 mark on the health bar. Well, not totally true: the spell will heal max 2925, but you get the idea.
