I like to keep one fast-casting low-mana nuke on hand to weave into my bigger nukes, so I can vary my efficiency on the fly. Sometimes it's good to have two of them up, in which case I'd use this and Chaos Combustion Rk. II (being parked as I am at L85 for AAs). When I only want one of them, which is the best bang for the buck? I did the math in this post on the Chaos Combustion Rk. II page, and it turns out that (without Ro's Flaming Familiar), WIldmagic Blast Rk. II is by far the superior spell.

Same recipe as Spell: Wildmagic Burst Rk. II except using the rough spell tablet necessary for level 81 spells.

  • 1 x Arcane Thickener
  • 3 x Ink of Pain
  • 3 x Ink of Zek
  • 1 x Quill of the Arcanist
  • 1 x Rough Spell Tablet
  • 1 x Zebuxoruk's Ink Additive

this is my new fave spell. with max crit and dmg aa's (including sod aa) and no focus effects u crit often with the pure wildmagic doin 16k a crit. all for only 388 mana! when i solo i can go for much longer periods w/out having to stop and med using this spell instead of the 85 big nuke. this spell is a must have and worth the time factioning
