Worshippers of the tribunal can cast : Imbue Ivory to imbue ivory.
How much do they go for in Bazzar
# Apr 27 2006 at 9:35 AM Rating: Decent
I understand what the spell is for, But I want to know how much one will pay for an imbued emerald, ballpark figure. I know the price can vary when dealing in the bazzar.
Not Fair

what i think is wrong, is that since these spells are deity specific, Vah Shir Shamen can't use any of them because they must be agnostic. There should be one for them as well.
grandfathered
# Apr 29 2004 at 6:28 PM Rating: Decent
I am a Druid of Tunare and attest to being grand-fathered in. I scribed Imbue Plains Pebble about 2.5 years ago and it still works, so I can imbue both pebbles and emeralds.

Strange but true

When my cleric first became of age to use this spell, I bought as many of the 'imbue' line of spells as I could. I scribed them all.... somehow I scribed them all... I can cast several different imbue spells. I know it sounds strange, but as it turns out, there was a diety bug when I bought mine. It lasted for about a day or so, but the next day I wasn't able to mem any more that I found. So I checked around and, to my suprise, I was supposed to only be able to scribe imbue emerald. shhhhh... =) for proof if you need it, contact me on saryn. Dude's name is Kapox. I'll prove this one =D

I have the spell Imbue Plains Pebble and it can only be memed and cast by druids of Karana
deity?
# Apr 10 2003 at 10:58 AM Rating: Default
My WE druid worships tunare, but I have both imbue Plains Pebbles and imbue emerald and I can imbue either one. This info on you only being able to imbue the stone based off your diety is incorrect.

Oh, yes, for some reason the Plains Pebble can be imbued by someone of ANY religion. It's the only exception.

Ok, lets clear this one up. At one point in time, ALL the imbue spells were not deity specific, meaning that druids could have two imbues, shaman 3 or 4, and clerics a whole bunch.

They patched that, and since that date, nobody can SCRIBE the imbue spells for any deity except their own.

If you scribed them prior to the patch, you can still cast them. My cleric got 4 imbues prior to the patch, still uses them all, but cannot scribe or cast the others.

This is a religion based spell that creates a holy relic to be used in tradeskills to enhance the powers of items, so it cannot be cast by anyone Agnostic. The caster needs to have the gem/gems in their inventory before casting, once the spell is cast the Imbued gem/gems will appear on their cursor. The mass Imbue spell will Imbue5 gems at a time. Each gem is deity specific and the caster has to worship that diety, but anyone can purchase the spell. The spells are for 29 level characters AND may be class specific: Clerics, Druids and Shaman which are marked below. Notice I started this post in 2003 and now updating it in 2007, so many things have changed and need to include new races.

Here is a current list of single & mass Imbue spells:
Gem (diety) vendor location - class/lvl:

Amber (Cazic-thule) East Cabalis p1012, n188 - CLR/29 SHM/29
Black Pearl (Prexus) Erudin temple of Quellious n647,n141 - CLR/29
Black Sapphire (Bertox) Qeynos Catacombs p357,n289 - CLR/29
Diamond (Mithanial Marr) Freeport Cleric Guild n94,p341 - CLR/29 SHM/29
Emerald (Tunare) Felwithe Cleric Guild p12,n280 - CLR/29 DRU/29
Ivory (Tribunal) Halas - SHM/29
Opal (Rodcet Nife) Qeynos Cleric/Pally Guild n75,n146 - CLR/29
Peridot (Bristlebane) Ak'Anon Cleric Guild p1288,n571; Rivervale Cleric Guild n226,n311 - CLR/29
Plains Pebble (Karana) Druid ring in N. Karana - CLR/29 DRU/29
Rose Quartz (Erollisi Marr) Freeport Cleric Guild n94,p341 - CLR/29
Ruby (Brell Serilis) Ak`Anon Cleric Guild p1288,n571; Kaladim Cleric Guild p716,p132 - CLR/29
Sapphire (Innoruuk) Neriak Cleric Guild p562,n812 - CLR/29 SHM/29
Topaz (Quellious) Erudin Temple of Quellious n647,n141 - CLR/29
_____ (Veeshan) Crescent Reach?

The Imbued gem can then be used for cultural armour, high end pottery (idols) and jewelry. Sorry for missing some spells until now but I am kept from repeating my posts for like 5 minutes. Thanks for all the help in completing this list and for all the positive feedback, especially the ratings!

Forgot one, Imbue Amber (Cazic-Thule), come from Cabalis, don't know loc of the merchant
RE: Info
# Apr 28 2003 at 9:56 AM Rating: Excellent
Location : 1012, -188 in East Cabilis, in the Temple of Terror.

I don't see a listing for Paineel, which I find odd since that is the starting city for Erudite Cazic-Thule clerics.

Troll Shamen can also worship Cazic Thule (or Innoruuk, sp?) so the spell may also be sold somewhere in Neriak in Troll's area.

You cast the spell, and it turns an "emerald" into an "imbued emerald" giving it magical properties bestowed by the goddess Tunare (only tunare druids and clerics can cast). These imbued emeralds are used by tradeskillers to make: 1) deity specific jewelry, 2) deity specific cultural armor, 3) Mistletoe cutting sickles, 4) Robe of the solstice. Possibly a few other items I am just not thinking of at the moment.

The short answer: its used for tradeskills.
