well it does not stack with oure lvl 54 haste witch is some what higher in % what would you guys use?

It took me along time to work out how the hastes worked. As I have come to understand it,
v1 .. is worn haste
v2 .. is spell haste (enc/shm/brd)
v3 .. is bard overhaste
Now as for stackability, they will all stack , but only the highest haste % of the vgroup will actually take effect.
For example,normally I have 31% worn, plus Epic proc which counts as 55% v2 haste , + 25% overhaste from Warsong of Vah Shir... grand total of 111% haste.. now if I was grouped with an enchanter who has vallon,which I believe is 67% haste,epic proc would stack for stats and +atk, but enc haste would be used,and boost me to 123% haste.
So twisting in McVaxius's Rousing Rondo when you have either epic for haste proc or another haster in group is a great way to beef up atk for melee in group,but if I didn't have epic for proc or some other haste class in group I'd use a better haste song.
But this is all my opinion and to each thier own.

SOE has made various ways to get stackable haste.
v0, v1, v2 stack once each, they cap at 100% however, so it may be useless to use v2 haste while chanter spell 70% and worn 36% are in use (caps at 100%).
v3 stacks all and raises cap beyond 100%, the highest v3 is used other v3 only give other affects like stats

I used the song over the weekend, It is a great song. i have recently found this website that talks about haste and how a bard heaste wont stack with ENC or SHM haste http://cloud.prohosting.com/~talone/HasteData.htm

When i used this song "Mc'Vexius rousing rondo" with any other haste (ENC or SHM haste) i still get the DMG shield, ATK buff, and STR buff (if STR is not maxed at 255), I can't tell if the haste is adding to the ENC/SHM haste, but it does make a difference in DPS when this song is playing.

the hastes DO stack. item / ench / shamie / bard normal haste ALL stack up to a cap of 100%. (this is with exception to Ber only haste items that stacks with everything too)
Bard OVERHASTE breaks the caps and stacks with everything. Bards have Erjv and Warsongs that both stack as haste V3 and V2 respectively.

well it don't SEEM to be stackable haste but it is still my prefered song to use in a group but a better haster(high level shm or 50+enchie). not great haste but the str and attack boost is pretty damn sweet add to that a 14 pt stackable dmg shield then it works pretty well.

The Target Type of this song is GROUP V2. this usually means stackable haste but not under the haste cap. Maybe that effect should be checked out. The only other bard song with group V2 haste are the ervaj(spelled wrong i bet but you can find them level 50 for the first) which are STACKABLE haste as long as you don't break the 1 sec haste cap with them
I have only used the song with shm haste thus far (alacrity). seemed faster than the 40% haste from that spell but again that was just what SEEMED to be and i could be wrong.

Love bards, alone we are not terribly powerful, but its odd how when we are around everyone else seems to get more powerful.

Group V2 is the target type of the spell, not the haste type. If it were haste v2 it would say in the spell description "Add 21% to haste v2" like it does in the description of "Melody of Ervaj"

I believe they use the sung version of this song for the stats here. I just got this song and its MUCH better than posted(instruments do NOT affect haste%). when i use with a troubadours mace i get just about 50 str(46 i think) over 50 attack and 14 pt dmg shield. The dmg shield seems to stack with ALL dmg shield effects i have run across thus far
