This spell tops out at 45% haste, 22 AC, and 35 AGI at level 60.

Now, the haste is considerably slower than Aanya's Quickening (64%), our previous haste. Is it of greater benefit to use this spell instead of Quickening? Do the AGI and the AC buffs really offset the slower haste?

The agi and ac together boost my ac at level 56 by 31, for a chanter. I'm not sure how this stacks with cleric ac buffs or shaman agi buffs, but I figure that only one of three situations make this spell better to use than AQ which lasts 24 mins compared to 36.

1. Tank has NP holding agro. He can afford to lose 20% haste in favour of a higher damage mitigation. This is not to say that other melees in the group should also get slower haste with agi/ac boost.

2. You are running LOM in a group/raid and a longer lasting, lower mana cost haste is going to be a big help in keeping yourself in the blue (mana). Now, in a group I have trouble going LOM unless I am charming. If I am below 50 mana it means I am also stealing agro from the tank every mob for most of its life.

3. The person being hasted is already going to be at the cap of 100% from type 1 (?) hastes via your 43% augment and their gear. Yeah, right. This will only happen if they have a 57% haste item or if bard songs are type 1 as well, which I was told not. Could be wrong though. Used to happen when an item augmentation's haste would stack with an item's haste like say SCHW and NRo LDoN haste aug, but they nerfed that as it was unintended behaviour.



Now, of all these situations, the only one that is really worth pulling out augment in my opinion is buffing for raid parties. If at 56 I am the highest chanter chances are everyone is getting my 36 min haste b/c I don't want to have to single cast haste on every melee every 24 minutes at a cost of 275 mana each when I can do it every 36 minutes at a cost of 135 mana each.

This spell used to have stamina regeneration and it prevented the tanks and other melee classes from taking stat hits for having their stamina bar go below 25%. Every time you swung your weapon you would lose some stamina based on the weapon's weight. With Aanya's Quickening your stamina bar would drain quickly and you would have to waste a spell slot and mana on a spell like invigor to restore the lost stamina. When the combat skill revamp went live the stamina bar was changed to endurance to fuel discs and all thing related to the stamina bar were removed, well the invigor spells are still there but are now useless.
