Make a bunch of copies of theft of thought.
Turn them in till you get what you want.

So can I get this in Fironia Vie or The Overthere, or do I have to go loot those four spells in return for this one and four others. If so where and what spells should I be looking for
In order to get this spell, you must do in the trade-in quest.
Turn in one of the following:
-Spell: Color Slant
-Spell: Cripple
-Spell: Dementia
-Spell: Theft of Thought
After turning in one of these four, and only one needed, you will receive one of four possible returned scrolls. This is random. You may get your desired spell the first shot, it may take 10,000 times. If you want all four, it may take a bit.
Personally, I'd recommend going to the Bazaar. It works out better for everyone when the spells obtained from this trade in are put up for those who need them in a more orderly buying scenerio.

Not actually vendor sold, but turn-in quest spells in FV or OT. Its been forever so I dont remember what they are, but there are 4 dropped spells that you can turn in for 4 others (including this one).
All the vendor sold chanter spells post 50 are sold in Friona Vie and The Overthere. Atleast to my knowledge.
