I got this spell and went immediately back to Dazzle when I saw how long it lasted. The only upgrade that I can see is that its memblur rate is higher (and I guess resists would be less, but my cha's high- those weren't a problem anyway)... but if I've got a good tank, memblur isn't that big a priority. This spell would be better if it lasted longer. What's the lvl limit on it, can I charm higher lvl mobs at least? I tried it on some mobs that my mez had previously been too low for, but it didn't work any better on them.
The main upgrade is the fact that it can mez creatures up to level 57. Our previous mezzes could only mez up to level 55.

Had a bad situation in LDoN MM Dungeon today. Got an enchanter mob which immediately charmed our tank. I had pet up and when it hit me for my tashing it, pet stepped in.
I mez'd the chanter MOB and then the Tank which decided to play bleed the Enchanter.
2 minutes later he wasy going "when is this mez going to wear off?"
Glitch? Maybe but real strange in any event...

Its a bug when a PC gets charmed then mezed they are
permanently mezed and have to log to reset it. I
have reported this bug a few times.
