I have had people try to tell me that this spell isn't that important. But I say it's a very handy spell. If you use your pet for pulling, you will want this spell. He can out run as he pulls and that help in many ways. And you won't ahve to summon your pet if you have runspeed up. my 66 Air pet can pretty well keep up at Bard speed too (Selo's). It was worth getting.

The logic of having pets' run speed independent of their owner's run speed simply escapes me.

To answer my own question: Yes, the pet will now keep up with me with AA run 3 or sow.

Well, it's been a while, but didn't this spell come out with Scars of Velious? I know my summoned shard of the core, and expedience did, and they are sold in EC tunnrl. Maybe it was just expedience that was SoV, but I'll be making a trip to EC to find out.
