This spell is so worthless, When im level 55 and my AE does 900 damage as a wizard, i have the level 57 AE or whatever, I just think the higher level spells something are worthless as is true here, with this gAY SPELL, Dont buy!

Your AE does 900 dmg, but this does "three waves of 896 damage to all creatures in the vicinity of your target". so... 900 dmg vs 2688 dmg. The drawback to this spell is the mobs must be stationary.

Agree with derleek, its my main damage spell between 55-60.
I use it when the tank holds aggro well, its very efficiently even against only a single target.
Wizzy doesn't get any damage improved single DD in 50's, this spell is likely cast 3 times of Rend in damage, and much better in mana saving and casting time.
Try to learn how to combine DD and AE to maximize the firepower, you will find wizard fun!

I actually killed myself with this spell, so beware to be out of its AE range.
How could you kill yourself with a 200+ Fire Resist? <grin>

I don't kill myself with this spell.
The npc for the spell handins in FV is Barnal Flamehand, his loc is -3270,3070.
He wants one of the following spells: Atol's Spectral Shackles, Tears of Druzzil, Inferno of Al'Kabor or Pillar of Frost.
I received: Tishan's Discord and 2 Tears of Solusek.

Second time around :) I handed in 4 spells and received: Abscond, Tears of Solusek, Thunderbold & Tishan's Discord.

To get this spell, Vymdraven, you hand in the Spell: Tears of Marr to the Erudite (who's name escapes me at the present) in the Firiona Vie outpost. He's in a hut near the amphitheater, the large building with the statue. He also gives you some spells like Thunderbold and Tishans Discord, the scroll he give you is based on what you hand in.
Any one know who sells this spell and if it is not sold, what mob/zone it drops in?
