See invis and ultravision, mmm. I play a druid sometimes and you get ultravision in wolf form. It's the best sight available in game. With almost total darkness you see as far away as possible in daylight. The colors look different, but you won't get limited distance like you do in other ways of sight. I have tried all vision types in game and ultravision is the best for seeing everything at all times. Dark elves get innate ultravision and enchanters can buff ultravision on other toons. If you really are curious ask an enchanter to buff ultravision on you sometime and run around in burning woods. The smoke won't block your view at all.
Researchable TOO!

See Invisible(2) ?

Would anyone know the specific differences between the See Invisible(2)found as part of Plainsight, and the See Invisible(1) found as part of Truesight?

I'm curious as to the difference in effects where a ranger would be concerned. (Helm of the Tracker vs. Planestriders. I realize the other differences, but I wanted to know specifically about this.)

I came here wondering the exact same thing. My hunch is just they just use different slots (which don't effect worn effects anyway).
I dont like this, wish i can turn off the effect.

This is the same as turning your gamma way up. The dark becomes light purple. On my computer, everything becomes light purple when my enchanter puts on the Silken Augmenter's Cap. If i turn down the gamma, it still looks bad. If i want to take a picture, i have to take off my cap so the colors look nice.
