I never got used to these spells as I always had stacking issues. Maybe someone can help explain why I cannot get this and the other spells like it to stick on me !!!!

Ok, kinda old post, but I'll reply anyway.
5: Stacking: Block new spell if slot 4 is effect 'Max Hitpoints' and < 2268
Meaning it will stack with cleric spells and our own hp spells (the two of them don't, however).
Ravenscale Cloak (slot 2 hp buff)
2: Increase Max Hitpoints by 878
Hand of Gallantry (also slot 2 hp buff)
2: Increase Max Hitpoints by 3775
Gnarl of the predator (slot 2 ATK buff)
2: Increase ATK by 138
From this, you can see that Ravenscale cloak and Hand of gallantry dont stack with eachother, but each individually stack with Kirkoten, since it's a slot 4 hp buff.
However, Kirkoten and Gnarl do not stack with eachother, since Gnarl is a slot 2 ATK buff with less than 2260 ATK.
Remember?
8: Stacking: Block new spell if slot 2 is effect 'ATK' and < 2260
Makes sense, right?
If you, for example, get a slot 3 AC buff that gives you more than 2251 AC (that would be soo sweet), it would overwrite this spell. If it's less than 2251 AC, this spell would block it.
