It hits everybody in group with a rune every 18 seconds for 6 minutes. It consumes two (2) peridots.

I think this would be awesome for Vish raids! =D lol, so i dont have to keep casting group rune ><

Yes this does use up peridots.
But I'm posting to ask if there really is a good use for this? I guess if it refreshed every 6 seconds like you say the 400 absorbed would help out almost every other combat round.
With a mana cost of 4k and it seems to only last about 10-15 minutes at most, I'd be oom pretty quick in a fast pulling group.

this aura does not use any peridot's to cast or maintain. hits group 1 time every 6 seconds good for them harder hitting mobs in T3 and T4 zones. but really does not seem to last long for the mana cost.

Confirmed, no longer need Dot to cast this spell.
