I'm curious if anyone uses this spell in their tactics. It seems forgotten.

Blinds are rarely used on blue servers. They can be useful if used properly, though the durations usually limit this. If a Blinded MOB has no targets within meelee range, it will start running away as if it was Feared. However, once anyone it has aggro counts against moves into meelee range, it will start wailing away. Sometimes useful as a backup to a Fear spell- in case the Fear is resisted, this could buy enough time for Fear to refresh and be recast.

The place where Blind spells can really shine is in PvP situations. A Blinded player has his abilities drastically reduced, since he has no idea except from sound what may have happened from any of his attacks/spells. However, a heavy MR can make Blinds bounce more often than they land, which puts them back towards the lower part of the stack again.

Flash of light is a great spell for pallies. Even stun doesn't pull a mob off a caster quicker.

However, Since this is a druid spell, and druids generally aren't trying to get aggro (well, I've grouped with a few who seemed to be, but generally speaking) the non-pvp uses of druid blindness spell would be very situational.

I used my pally flash of light to single pull non-kos mobs, but again, druids have snare, which is much better for that purpose.
