drakkin really cant use this? that doesnt make sense. dragons hate giants so you should be able to do this quest

Since they recently changed this spell so it now affects a larger variety of giants and no longer requires peridots to cast, it has become much more desirable.

Derakor the Vindicator (aka "Vindi")
King Tormax
Velketor the Sorcerer
Narandi the Wretched (boss of ring 10 war)
It does not land on giants in BoT. It did not work on Statue, Idol or AoW last time I tried it. It does cost 2 peridots to cast. Improved damage focus effects do not work on it, spell haste and mana preservation effects do work. It is unresistable and overcomes the melee range to nuke requirement that Velketor has for normal spells.
Any wizard getting this spell should be aware that it *seems* to come with more aggro than an equivalent conventional nuke.
Once upon a time it was the most efficient DD spell in the game and a must have in a raiding guild. It's time is passed now.

I quested this today thinking... "I'll destroy the kromzek I will mwahha" or something to that effect. After all said and done I go to cast on a storm giant sentinal... and it says it only works on certain targets. So I ask aroung. it works on Vindi, Velk, Tormax and the lead giant of 10th ring war... WOW... 4 whole mobs and it took that much effort. 2 Dots to cast and sure it's the most efficient lure existant but damn...

I do believe this requires 1 or 2 peridots to cast. ??
