(it takes hate+4 to turn a mob, so taunt and a swing usually does it)
The only terror worth anything is Terror of discord. Otherwise, SK's should be using clinging darkness for the most efficient mana, and higher agro until they get Discord. Even when resisted (which is almost always past certain level mobs) the hate is so much more than any of the earlier terrors.
And taunt is useless unless you are trying to make the mob face you. If the mob is already on you, big whoop. You would be adding 1 point of hate, and gauranteeing the button will be greyed out when you actually need it.
The descriptions of "increase hate by 1" in every allakhazam terror description is wrong, based on how the spell.dat is read.

An old post I know, but I thought I should point out the flaw in Kalysta's argument using Clinging Darkness over any of the Terror line. CD has a dot component, while the Terror lines do not, therefore you cannot use it to keep agro on mezzed mobs. CD is fine for the mob you're engaging but is 'not' the end-all-be-all of agro tools for Shadowknights.

But when you spam it and the first fail you get it takes you DOWN to +1 on top as well. Usually not an issue, except for any dots or nukes following, even a heal generates enough agro that your no longer a tank, your temporary dps that just doesn't measure up on the dps scale. Taunt, great when you aren't on top of hate list, bad when you are. With this line, I've never had an issue with agro though /grin
echo hard side or easy side, on a mutant, or in the evil guildmaster area??

Does thsi stack wiht something like Scream of Hate?
There's nothing to stack.
Scream of Hate is a duration debuff and the Terror spells are instant hate generation.

I care to differ from the previous poster. Falos Ginranes does indeed sell this hot little item. He sold it to my Iksar SK for 5 plat 6 gold and 5 copper.

THE spell IS NOT AT ECHO CAVERNS ON FALOS GINRANES. SEARCHED ALL OF THE NPC IN ECHO NONE AHD IT ....ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?

Hate is the aggro that you build on a mob. If you plan on being a MT then anything you can do to increase hate spells/taunting/ds etc will help you do that better. So a spell that increases hate by 200 will help alot. Just be prepared to get hit lol.

I did not find this spell in pok, but I did find this spell on falos ginranes in echo caverns at loc pos 1593, neg 759.

where is this spell sold at.

Zone into the easy side of echo then turn right where it seems like a dead end walk up to the rock and click it. It opens and you find the vendor in there.
