No longer reduces mana at all while it's up!

This, along with Mind Over Matter, are now valid full-time buffs that an Enchanter can afford to keep up 24/7, instead of waiting until it's too late to fire it off!

This also stacks with the Cleric line of melee damage mitigation buffs, such as Rallied Aegis of Vie Rk. II. For even more protection, you can fire off Dimensional Instability once Rallied Aegis / Veil of Mindshadow have dropped. Altogether, these would give an Enchanter a much higher survivability rating in high-end melee encounters.

And, of course, you can stack on a Legion of Alendar Rk. II to provide protection against incoming spell/DoT damage, as well.

/cheer!

Ah, but it shares a timer with Eldritch Rune, and does not stack with Draconic. Therefore, treat this as an upgrade to that line, *not* as an additional rune to stack on board.

It reacts differently than your other runes; this one doesn't provide the "but your magical skin blocks the blow" message, but rather you only get whacked for 20% of the damage.

That's actually a *good* thing... because it means that your healer and tank can see you're getting hit before you're suddenly flattened. :D

true, but they do stack. if you can go ten minutes without getting hit (guild hall, lobby, or just being careful) you can have both up at the same time.
