Game Description

Afflicts your target with a hungry toxin that will cause @1 damage. The venom will attempt to absorb energy from the creatures that can sometimes be controlled to give a temporary increase to the power of your duration damage spells. However, there is also a chance that the energy will backfire and cause the power of your damage over time spells to drop for a short time.

doubles your tick if it works, improves disease dots alot since they are long duration (cooking) type dots. I had a problem with the casting time since you have to run after you cast this. The proc goes on your short buff window, but you dont have time to cast a dot since you are running away now, still nice boost in dps. I can use it in groups if I use FD when the proc goes off. Those crit dots are nasty aggro.
Only one great use.

I found there is really only one great use for this spell and that's in a raid style fight. You have the chance to proc a mod that will pretty much blow the **** off anything. My highest crit with a set of 4 dots on a mob (Fire and Magic) was a total of 14k.. It's a great spell if you can land the high end dots on the mob and still have enough time to drop this on it for a tic or two. a Must have if your a necro. Can say much about the 1st rank of this spell but this is a good spell
